Do you ever feel unappreciated? Can you remember the last time you went out of your way to do something kind for someone else and they didn’t show any gratitude or maybe even didn’t notice? Not even a simple “thank you!” We all know how it feels to be unappreciated. Now, let’s flip things around. Have you ever held back your gratitude and made someone else feel unappreciated?

We are given opportunities everyday to express our appreciation to family, friends, God, and even strangers. We have the privilege to make that person’s day by simply expressing our gratitude for them and their kindness. This week, let’s focus on helping others feel appreciated. You will be surprised to see how focusing on others can actually improve our own gratitude and happiness.
